The UNC Asheville men's basketball team was crushed by UNC Chapel Hill 116-48 at the Smith Center on Sunday.

Reid Augst, Jason Ridenhour and Matt Dickey led the Bulldogs with eight points each.

John Williams scored six points, had nine rebounds and four blocked shots.

UNCA held a short lead at the start of the game.

UNC Chapel Hill went on a 11-0 run and never looked back.

In the first half, UNCA shot 24 percent from the field, 33 percent from the foul line and 16 percent from the three-point zone.

The Tar Heels shot 55 percent from the field.
