Volleyball Falls 1-2 in Opening Weekend

The Bulldogs started strong and deated Florida Gulf Coast 3-2 in pool play in the Hilton/RTP NCCU Volleyball Tournament last weekend.

But, UNCA failed to hold up against Elon and Maine losing 3-0 and 3-2, respectively.

Junior Lauren Ficker and sophomore Kelsey Benroden led the team with ten and 11 kills respectively. Benroden and junior Brooke Holliday had 17 and 15 digs, respectively.
